What are electric cars? 

They work exactly the same as a car with an internal combustion engine, with the difference that they use electricity, i.e. electricity, to drive them. Instead of an internal combustion engine, not necessarily located under the hood, there is an engine or electric motors, a controller and a set of batteries.

Ecological electric cars are very environmentally friendly since the electricity for charging them comes from renewable sources.
