Famous fast fashion brands - why people don’t like them?
Hey!
After a long break, today I come to you with a post about fast fashion.
As u probably know, fast fashion refers to the clothing industry based on quickly producing and introducing new collections, often reflecting the latest trends.
For example, most famous but not really counted fast fashion brands are Zara, H&M. But the most associated are Shein, Temu and Forever 21. These companies offer affordable clothing, produced in large quantities, but at the cost of environmental and labor ethics.
Many consumers boycott these brands due to their negative impact on the planet. Fast fashion production is associated with excessive resource use, environmental pollution, and the exploitation of workers, often in countries with low labor standards. The clothes from these brands are also of poor quality, contributing to the overproduction of textile waste. Boycotting fast fashion is a way to protest against irresponsible practices and call for a more sustainable approach to fashion.
Do you know any more fast fashion brands? What do you think about them?
See you next time!
